Crochet little snowman - FREE pattern!!

Today I have for you FREE little snowman pattern!

Enjoy this pattern!!

You will need:

* Yarns : white, orange and red

* Thread,( black or blue )
* Plastic eyes and glue
* Crochet hook size 3.00 mm and 2.5 mm
* Polyester toy stuffing
* Buttons
* Scissors, needle
* Stitch markers ( optional)

Abbreviations:

- MC : magic circle - sc : single crochet - st : stitch - ch : chain

- dc : double crochet - rnd. : round - 2 sc tog : 2 single crochet together

Level:

beginner/intermediate. Basic skills of crocheting are needed.

Size

of the finished snowman : high 8 cm, with hat 15 cm / width 5 cm

Notes:

1.The pattern is worked using the amigurumi method of crochet. Work the simple single crochet stitches continuously in a spiral without closing off each round with a slip stitch.

2. You may find it helpful to use a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round, moving it up as you work.

Body and head

* You will need : white yarn, crochet hook size 3.00 mm and polyester toy stuffing.

(the head and body are worked as one piece. )

2 rnd. > 2sc in each sc (12 sc)

3 rnd. > 2sc in each sc (24sc)

4 rnd. > ( 3sc in next 3sc, 2sc in next sc ) x 6 (30sc)

5 rnd. – 10 rnd. > sc in each sc around ( 30sc)

>> head <<

11 rnd. > ( 3sc in next 3sc, 2 sc tog) x 6 (24sc)

12 rnd. > ( 2sc in next 2sc , 2sc tog ) x 6 ( 18sc)

13 rnd. > sc in each sc around ( 18sc)

** start stuffing **

14 rnd. > (2sc in next 2sc, 2sc in next sc) x 6 (24sc)

15 rnd. > ( 3sc in next 3sc, 2sc in next sc) x 6 (30sc)

16 rnd. – 18 rnd. > sc in each sc around (30sc)

19 rnd. > ( 3sc in next 3sc, 2sc tog ) x 6 (24sc)

20 rnd. > ( 2sc in next 2sc, 2sc tog) x 6 ( 18sc)

** continue stuff **

*Fasten off.

*Leave yarn long enough to sew the hole. Sew it together (flat) .

Nose

* You will need orange yarn and crochet hook size 2.5 mm

1 rnd. > 2 chain, work 3sc into 1st chain (3sc)

2 rnd. > 1sc, 2sc in 1 sc, 2sc in 1sc ( 5 sc )

3 rnd. – 4 rnd. > sc in each sc around ( 5sc)

*Leave yarn long enough to sew the nose to face

Hat

* You will need: red yarn, crochet hook size 3.00 mm

1 rnd. > 2 chain, work 6 sc into 1st chain ( 6sc)

2 rnd. > sc in each sc around ( 6sc)

3 rnd. – 7 rnd. > sc in each sc around ( 6sc)

8 rnd. > 2 sc in each sc ( 12sc)

9 rnd. > sc in each sc around ( 12 sc)

10 rnd. > ( 1sc, 2sc in next sc ) x 6 ( 18sc)

11 rnd. > sc in each sc around (18sc)

12 rnd. > ( 2sc in next 2sc, 2sc in next sc ) x 6 ( 24sc)

13 rnd. > (3sc in next 3sc, 2sc in next sc) x 6 ( 30sc)

14rnd. – 18rnd. > sc in each sc around ( 30sc)

19 rnd. > dc in each sc around ( 30dc)

*Fasten off. Leave yarn long enough to sew the hat to the head.

Pompon

*You will need : white yarn, crochet hook size 3.00mm

1rnd. > 2chain , work 6sc into 1st chain (6sc)

2 rnd. > 2sc in each sc (12sc)

3 rnd. > sc in each sc around (12sc)

4 rnd. > 2 sc tog x 6 (6sc)

*Fasten off. Leave long yarn and sew the pompon to the hat.

Scarf

1.60 chain, turn and sc in the fourth stitch from the hook

2. 1dc in each chain to the end (56dc)

* Fasten off, leaving tail long enough to sew scarf between head and body.

All parts are done.

              Your snowman is done !!!
